18th February: Raynet operators from the society attended the annual VSCC event on Exmoor, providing radio commuications for the hill chiefs and stewards. Valuable vintage cars attempt to climb VERY muddy steep slopes ("hills"), in an effort to gain points for their expertise in maneuvering their prized vehicles. Raynet "manned" 3 hills - 'Broford', 'Redcleave' and 'Ringcombe' where because of the terrain, a Raynet repeater system was setup to facilitate radio comms.

5th March: E.A.R.S. once again held an extremely successful radio rally at America Hall. With over 150 enthusiastic radio amateurs, electronics experts and engineers, the day rapidly gathered pace. The society were particularly thankful to the traders (and the RSGB!) who regulary attend our 17 annual rallies, and society members who helped with setting the hall.
